The 75th day of Ukraine's heroic struggle against the Russian invaders continues. While the Russians are celebrating May 9, Ukrainian defenders are destroying their military and equipment on the territory of our state.
The Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a powerful video of the performance of a combat mission by the Ukrainian military. It is noted that the video contains footage of the professional work of our defenders of the reconnaissance and artillery units of the 81st separate airborne brigade of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The current situation at the front: the construction of the General Staff for May 9 as of 18:00
- One of the hottest segments of the front and beyond is Izyumsky, Kharkov region. The occupiers continue to prepare for offensive operations in the directions of Izyum-Barvenkovo and Izyum-Slavyansk. To do this, they replenish stocks of logistics, prepare their units and carry out aerial reconnaissance.
- In a number of areas, the Russians are regrouping and trying to attack, however, for the most part – without success. So, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to storm the village of Voevodovka, after which he retreated to the previously occupied positions. Infidels also conducted unsuccessful military operations in the Bakhmut direction, near the settlement of Toshkovka. The fighting continues in the Avdeevsky direction – near Novoselovka, Novoselovka II and Verkhnetoretsky. In the Limansky direction, fighting is going on near the settlements of Aleksandrovka and Shandrigolovo. There is a battle for Rubizhne.
- Despite the “silence regime”, the Russians resumed shelling and storming the Azovstal plant in Mariupol. Meanwhile, enemy ships in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas continue to carry out tasks to isolate the combat area, and also carry out reconnaissance.
