The Netherlands is preparing to send Western F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an address at the end of the 667th day of a full-scale war.
At the beginning of the video, the head of state thanked the Ukrainian soldiers who destroyed three Russian Su-34s at once.

— On the South direction — in our Kherson region. The result of our Air Force and the Odessa Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade itself. Thank you guys! And let every Russian pilot know for sure that there will be our answer to every Russian murderer — none of them will go unpunished, — he emphasized.
During the day, the Ukrainian leader also had a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and his team, during which they discussed the preparation of solutions to “those issues that are raised in our units, in combat brigades”.
He clarified that we are talking, in particular, about issues of motivation, the issue of certainty of service life, the issue of replenishment.
— Defense forces rely on people. And people — it is a spirit and a weapon. We must provide both components. Thanks to everyone who helps, — he said.
Separately, Vladimir Zelensky spoke about his conversation with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, in which the topic of F-16 aircraft was again discussed.
— The Netherlands is preparing to send the first F-16 fighters to Ukraine. We have moved from political decisions on the provision of aircraft to the training of pilots and engineers, and now we are implementing the technical part — actually, deliveries of F-16, — he said.
The head of state thanked the Netherlands and other partners of Ukraine who support in this matter.

— Of course, we also discussed current political issues with Mark, in particular the agreement in the European Union on a new support package for Ukraine — €50 billion, a necessary, long-term package. This is our resilience. And, besides this, we managed to discuss the preparation of a new meeting on the implementation of the Peace Formula, — he said.
Vladimir Zelensky also congratulated Ukrainian energy workers and Ukrainian diplomats on their professional day.
He said that in the morning he awarded state awards to workers in the energy industry and met with representatives of the diplomatic community of Ukraine.
— This year has been an ambitious one for Ukraine, and we managed to realize most of our ambitions in relations with partners. Next year — clear tasks, absolutely understandable KPIs for all workers in the diplomatic sphere of Ukraine, — he said.
Also during the day, the President of Ukraine met with the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Sikorski.
— We are renewing our relationship. We discussed how we can overcome the existing problems. Of course, I thanked Poland for supporting our state in the defense sector. We have very serious opportunities for further collaboration — such work that will strengthen both our peoples, — Vladimir Zelensky reported.
He added that this applies, in particular, to joint defense production between Ukraine and Poland.
