Issuing documents on Russian letterheads: the FSB seized important institutions in the Kherson region

The Russians took over all the registry offices in the occupied Kherson/”Left Bank”

The occupying troops continue to integrate the part of the Kherson region not controlled by Kyiv into the Russian legal plane. Every day, the special services of the aggressor country are advancing in the subordination of certain state bodies of Ukraine.

According to Channel 24 sources in the Ukrainian special services, in early July, the invaders decided that it was time to issue Russian certificates to newborns in the Kherson region. This applies to certificates of death and registration of marriages.

For this, the FSB officers, together with armed servicemen of the Russian army, raided all institutions of civil registration authorities.

We haven't decided yet whether to indicate Kherson as a “part of Russia”

  • Representatives of the Russian special services conducted “interviews” with employees of the registry offices and offered them to “agree with the new conditions”.
  • Far from everyone agreed to cooperate with the occupation “administration”. Such officials were “fired”, and instead of them, the FSB officers hired their people to work in the registry offices.
  • In addition, the invaders decided on a separate FSB officer who supervises the transition of the central executive authorities to Russian norms.

The first “documents” related to the registration of acts of civil status, the registry offices in Kherson seized by Russia have already begun to issue. At the same time, the wording on the forms with the double-headed eagle is used as generally as possible. That is, the occupied Kherson region is still “embarrassed” to call it part of Russia or a territory separate from Ukraine. This is due to the fact that the Horde themselves have not yet decided on the status of the territory they seized.

Nevertheless, the use of Russian forms once again indicates that Putin plans to somehow annex the southern region of Ukraine.

Teachers were tortured to force them to switch to the Russian program

The Russian occupiers are desperately trying to collect the number of collaborators they need for the full functioning of the region, but there are not very many who want to cooperate with the aggressors. The FSB officers are not very interested in the issue of having officials on the ground for the life support of the occupied territories, but this cannot be said about the launch of the educational process.

The invaders have an order to transfer the part of the Kherson region under their control to the Russian training program. At the same time, the FSB officers cannot cope with the task, since they will not perceive failure at the top. Therefore, the Horde is constantly increasing pressure on teachers and school directors who do not want to obey the temporary “authority”.

The Russians tried to recruit staff of educational institutions at the expense of students from Russian universities, and also offered relocation and employment to teachers from the Crimea. However, if for young people from the Russian hinterland a trip to Kherson can be considered winning the lottery, then on the peninsula such proposals are not looked at very happily. After all, everyone understands that the South of Ukraine will be liberated, and no one wants to get into the war zone.

Therefore, the Russians are faced with a shortage of teaching staff to start preparing for schooling. And they began to put even more serious pressure on Ukrainian teachers. Some women were abducted by the invaders and kept in basements without the opportunity to eat or go to the toilet. The invaders released only those who signed an agreement to cooperate.
