The NBC anchor asked Jake Sullivan point-blank whether President Joe Biden would sign the bill if it came to his desk?
— We have made clear that we need to address all of the major national security challenges facing the United States. It means support for Israel, it means the war in Ukraine, it means the edge of the Pacific Ocean and it means the (American) border, the national security adviser said.
According to him, what is happening now in the Senate is a trick that is not a serious attempt to cope with national security problems.
— America believes that Israel's security must be sacred. It should not be part of any political game. Therefore, we believe that the right thing to do is to pass a comprehensive bill,” said Jake Sullivan.
