At the time of the attack, there were at least 20 militants and senior commanders in the room. At the same time, the Gaza Civil Defense Agency reports that up to 100 people were killed in the strike. However, the IDF denies this information and denies such a number of victims.

Later, Reuters wrote that the IDF announced the elimination of 19 radicals as a result of the strike on the school in Gaza. The identities of these killed have been established by the Israeli side.
