Israel Should Not End This War: How Hamas Leaders Are Being Eliminated Melania Golembyovskaya

Israel has killed Hamas leader Rahvi Mushtaha in Gaza and many other leaders. Israel is also destroying militant groups and controlling two areas in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli military analyst David Sharp told Channel 24 about this, noting that Hamas is in a difficult situation. Israel will continue its actions at a “low fire” and try to prevent Hamas from increasing its forces.

How Hamas leaders are being liquidated

Sharp explained that Israel should not end the war, but has the task of preventing Hamas from “raising its head.” Where a terrorist group gathers, that is where they must be destroyed, so that they do not attack Israel or increase their forces.

As for the liquidation of the head of Hamas, he and several other high-ranking officials were liquidated three months ago. Hamas simply did not announce it.

Rahvi Mushtaha is the right hand of Hamas commander Yahya Sinwar. However, in general, he is an administrative politician, responsible for terrorist attacks, was in prison with Sinwar and is his right hand not in war, but in political matters.

He is the number two figure after Sinwar in the political wing. The number one figure in the war is Mohammed Deif, he was eliminated long ago, – the military analyst noted.

According to Sharp, Israel has now shifted its focus to the North, so there are minimal ground troops operating in Gaza. The main Hamas combat formations, except for one or two battalions, have been routed, but not destroyed. Israel controls two areas of territory in the Gaza Strip.

One is in the area of the border with Egypt, which cuts off Hamas from the supply of contraband and the movement of people from that country. In addition, Israel controls the territory, dividing the central and northern parts of Gaza and strikes at the concentration of militants.

This is all happening in parallel with the actions against Hezbollah. Israel also controls the perimeter of Gaza, for this purpose it has attracted three divisional headquarters. Such actions of slow suppression at a “low fire” continue, – the military analyst noted.

Israel has achieved its military goal – now Hamas is effectively unable to fire rockets at the country. Attacks occur at most once a week at short distances.

Hamas produces virtually no weapons, and there is no smuggling. Israel is constantly destroying their militants.

“Despite this, Sinwar, unlike the entire Hamas leadership, is alive. Moreover, Hamas has more than a hundred Israeli prisoners in its hands, which is a living wound for Israel. It is unrealistic to reach an agreement, because Hamas demands a guarantee of a ceasefire,” Sharp added.

Note! On the night of September 30, the IDF eliminated Hamas commander in Lebanon Fateh Sherif during an airstrike. In addition, he eliminated the leader of the military wing of Hamas, Said Atallah Ali, in Lebanon, along with whom his wife and two daughters were killed.

By the way, Joe Biden wants to achieve peace in the Gaza Strip. Earlier, Sharp also said that the set of conditions for a ceasefire proposed by the United States are unacceptable to Israel due to the country's vital interests and security
