The authors of the material noted that in response to the terrorist attack by Hamas militants on October 7, the Israeli military focused on Gaza City. Yes, this locality is a stronghold for Palestinians in the North of the territory.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant also commented on the IDF’s actions. During the briefing, he said Israeli soldiers had advanced to the “heart of Gaza City” and were “strengthening the noose.”

Foot troops, armored vehicles and tanks have one goal – to destroy Hamas terrorists in Gaza, their infrastructure, commanders, bunkers, communication rooms, he said.
