Israel has launched significant strikes on southern Lebanon after Hezbollah's plans to launch a rocket attack on its territory were exposed.

According to CNN, Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said dozens of Israeli fighter jets struck launchers that were to be used for the attack.
— In total, we hit about 400 Hezbollah launchers today, Hagari said during a press conference.
He said Israel is carrying out strikes methodically, taking away more and more of Hezbollah's launching capabilities, as well as eliminating commanders and terrorists.

Daniel Hagari said the IDF struck the Dahieh neighborhood in southern Beirut, killing senior Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Aqila and 15 others who were planning to strike Israel.
