Israel attacked Iran's nuclear test site: satellite photos Sergey Popovich

Israel has carried out an airstrike on a building that researchers say was once part of Iran's nuclear program. Satellite images show damage.

Sky News reported this, citing David Albright, a former UN military inspector and head of the research group at the Institute for Science and International Security.

Israel attacks Iranian nuclear facilities

On Saturday, Israel struck the Parchin military complex near Tehran.

American expert David Albright reported that satellite images show how the airstrike damaged a building called Talegan 2.

This building was used for testing as part of Project Amad, Iran's nuclear weapons development program. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency and the US intelligence community, it was closed in 2003.

Albright suggested that Iran may have removed important materials before the attack, but noted that even without the equipment, the facility could have potential value for future nuclear research.

Satellite images released after the attack show damage to facilities within the complex, particularly in the lower right corner and center bottom of the image.

Recall that Israel struck Iranian military targets on the night of October 26. The targets of the Israeli attack were military installations, as well as air defense systems: both anti-aircraft missile batteries and other weapons systems.
