The “Second Army of the World” has accumulated a certain amount of attack aircraft near the borders with Ukraine. Thus, the Russians decided to increase their offensive potential.
This was announced by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak. According to him, attack aircraft are planned to be used in the most important areas during the offensive.

The intelligence official stressed that the Ukrainian air defense system is getting tougher every day. Today, it is capable of destroying not only missiles and kamikaze drones, but also aircraft.
Will Russia use an air strike during subsequent missile strikes?
Recently, a military expert, a major in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Aleksey Getman, said that the Russian invaders pulled at least 400 aircraft to the border with our state, which can attack along with cruise and ballistic missiles. In addition, there are also helicopters that can also attack.

According to Hetman, the Russians are now calculating the usefulness and possibility of using these aircraft for air attacks. They understand that we are neutralizing 70-80% of cruise missiles, and we will shoot down even more planes, because it is easier.
