Is it enough for victory: Zelensky's Plan has been assessed in the UK Margarita Voloshina

The plan for the victory of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky aims to strengthen the position of our state. Kyiv, together with its partners, must have a common strategy that could influence Moscow.

This was stated by the British Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris in an interview with RBC-Ukraine. In his opinion, the relevant document is indeed a plan for a just peace.

Britain assessed Ukraine's Victory Plan

I think that what President Zelensky is doing is right, he is making a new strategy in order to convince Russia that military action will not be effective, Harris said.

According to him, he was glad to get the chance when the Ukrainian president was in London to discuss such main principles with him, along with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and newly appointed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Western officials, as the ambassador says, fully agree with the goal of Volodymyr Zelensky's Victory Plan, namely, to strengthen Ukraine's position to end of 2024. He also reminded that the United States will soon have a new presidential administration.

“And we would like to see Ukraine in a strong position at that point, both militarily and diplomatically, and also economically. So, and through cooperation with our partners, we are strengthening support for Ukraine,” the British representative added.

By the way, Harris also believes that Ukraine is already close to joining NATO. At the same time, he cannot say when exactly the invitation will be. According to him, not only will Ukraine be in NATO, but NATO will also be stronger with Ukraine.
