We need to join forces and together find an opportunity to create a reliable humanitarian corridor to the Kherson region and save the inhabitants.
This was stated by the Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk.
The inhabitants of Kherson and other cities of the region have been striking the whole world with their courage since the beginning of the war. After all, people are not afraid to risk their lives and take to the streets with Ukrainian flags, ignoring the threats of the invaders.
Vereshchuk stressed that these people should know that no one will forget about them and they will definitely be saved.
The route has already been developed and we have contacted the UN. There we were promised that on March 26 or in the coming days, representatives of international organizations will try to get into the city, which is now temporarily occupied, in their cars. The papal nunciate also turned to us and also promised to join the formation of this corridor,” Vereshchuk said.
She appealed to the international community and all those who are not indifferent with a call to join this initiative.
Let's join forces in order to break through a humanitarian corridor to our Beloved Kherson and the Kherson region,” Vereshchuk said.
