Iran's leader ordered a direct strike on Israel in response to Ghaniya's assassination, NYT Margarita Voloshina

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued an order to launch a direct strike on Israel in response to the likely assassination of a Hamas leader in Tehran.

Thus, the head of the Hamas politburo, Ismail Ghania, was killed in Iran. The country has already managed to blame Israel for everything and promised “retribution” for his death.

Referring to Iranian officials, The New York Times claims that Khamenei gave the order for the attack in response to an emergency meeting of Iran's Supreme National Security Council on the morning of July 31.
