The Iranian parliament has passed a bill that would end cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The Times of Israel reports this, citing the Iranian publication Nournews.

“The International Atomic Energy Agency, which refused to even minimally condemn the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, has put its international authority up for auction,” said Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

According to him, Iran will suspend cooperation with the IAEA until the safety of the country's nuclear facilities is guaranteed.

Incidentally, CEO Rafael Grossi said nearly 900 pounds (about 408 kilograms) of potentially enriched uranium had gone missing from Iran. Iranian officials said it had been moved to a safer location because of the risk of attack, but it was unclear where exactly.

Grossi stressed that the agency must know the exact location of all nuclear material in Iran and called for inspections to resume as soon as possible.
