Swiss President Viola Amgerd positively assessed the first Global Peace Summit for Ukraine, which took place in her country, and noted that now one key question remains.
According to her, it is important to involve Russia itself in the discussion, since peaceful results can only be achieved if the two parties to the conflict are involved.
She stated this in the final part of the summit, which was broadcast by a national telethon.

The head of state noted that the summit, held on June 15-16, — the first time since 2022 when dozens of countries at the highest level spoke not about war and weapons, but about achieving peace in Ukraine.
— We managed to come to a common vision here in Bürgenstock… We are sending a clear signal to the people of Ukraine and all those directly affected by the consequences of the war that a significant part of the international community wants to bring about change, — summarized the politician.
