Investigators managed to talk to a sadistic occupier

Bellingcat was able to establish that the abuse of prisoners of war took place on the territory of the Privilege sanatorium in the Luhansk region. Militants from the Akhmat battalion took part in the torture.

It is reported that representatives of The Insider spoke with the occupier, who tortured the prisoner on video. He tried to deny his involvement, but gave himself away, confused in the testimony.

Investigators analyzed several videos at once, including the one on which the prisoner was tortured. The war criminal and the place of torture were identified thanks to a hat, a military shirt, a bracelet and a white car with the Russian propaganda sign “Z”.

Kotovnik Ochur-Suge Mongush was caught on a video of propagandists at the Azot plant in occupied Severodonetsk. He was also seen in the area of the Seversky Donets River to the west of the captured Lisichansk.

The first person of the sadist was identified thanks to the FindClone service. Subsequently, he was issued an advertisement for a lost driver’s license, where he left two phone numbers.

A search through these numbers led investigators to links to two profiles on the VKontakte social network used by Mongush. This made it possible to find new photos and confirm that these phone numbers are indeed used by the kat.

Probably, Mongush previously worked in the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
