Consequences of Russian shelling/Office of the Prosecutor General
The head of the Donetsk OVA, Pavel Kirilenko, said that civilians continue to suffer because of the shelling of Russian troops.
Pavel Kirilenko noted that on May 9, 2022, 6 civilians of Donbass were wounded by Russian shelling.
“In addition, it was possible to clarify information regarding 11 people who died in Yampol during the period from April 23 to 28,” he added Pavel Kirilenko.

He also said that it was impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Investigation
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that a pre-trial investigation is underway in 8 criminal proceedings on violations of the laws and customs of war.
It is known that that from May 6 to May 9, 2022, the Russian military shelled the following places in the Donetsk region:
- m. Bahmut,
- with. Dronovka,
- s. Vladimirovka,
- m. Zheleznoe,
- New York,
- Severnoye
- Toretskaya, Bakhmut District.
As a result, houses were destroyed. In one of them, a man and a woman were killed due to a shell hit, a pensioner was mortally wounded, and two men were hospitalized.
In addition, an electrical substation, utility buildings, a garage, buildings of an agricultural enterprise and a dispensary department of the Regional Clinical TB Department were damaged.

- Russian infidels are trying to improve tactical position in the Donbass. Their main goal is to seize Rubizhne and create favorable conditions for further offensive.
- Over the past day, on May 8, the occupiers' aircraft inflicted 48 strikes on targets in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. The enemy most actively attacked the Donetsk and Slobozhansk directions.
- On May 8, the intensity of hostilities decreased in the Mariupol direction. However, the fighting with the enemy did not stop there completely.
- Absolutely the entire territory of the Donetsk region is under attack by Russian invaders. Now it is “hot” everywhere.
- The enemy continues to destroy the settlements of the Donetsk region. On the morning of May 7, infidels launched a missile attack on a lyceum in the city of Konstantinovka in the Kramatorsk region. The impact caused a fire to break out. Rescuers found dead and wounded under the rubble.
