Russian invaders continue to attack Ukrainian cities. In particular, on May 21, the invaders fired from “Gradov” Gulyaipole and destroyed the historic house of the townspeople Meleshkov
The Zaporozhye Regional Military District said that the Russian military had stepped up aerial reconnaissance using drones. In particular, in the area of the settlements of Orekhov, Gulyaipole, Lyubimovka, Uspenovka, Priyutny and Zeleny Gai. The invaders are actively carrying out engineering and fortification work in Zaporozhye. They do this in order to go on the defensive if necessary. Also, the movement of columns of enemy military equipment is recorded in the region.
At the same time, on May 21, infidels fired at civilian infrastructure in areas of settlements;
- Olgovskoye,
- Calm,
- Gulyaipole,
- Orekhov,
- Novodanilovka,
- Kamenskoye.
V The invaders attacked the city of Gulyaipole with Grads and destroyed the historical house of the townspeople Meleshkovs, which is located on Cathedral Street. In addition, the enemies destroyed the school and the house of the city executive committee in Orekhovo – an old and beautiful building.
On May 20, 2022, household items were on fire in a room of a residential building in Gulyaipole as a result of Russian shelling. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service localized the fire. Outside the village of Veselyanka, Zaporizhia region, a demining group of the State Emergency Service seized and neutralized a modern-made PG-7M grenade, the OVA added. together with collaborators, they stole medicines from a local pharmacy. After that, they announced the opening of the so-called “first municipal pharmacy” with Ukrainian-made medicine.
In turn, the inhabitants of Melitopol said that the invaders constantly violate the rules of the road and “have fun” on the road. In particular, they ran over a passenger car, in the cabin of which a woman was squeezed. The victim is in a local hospital. The Russians, as always, deny their involvement in the incident.
In Dniprorudny, the invaders began to give out 10 thousand rubles in exchange for the personal data of Ukrainians. In addition, in Vasilievka, the occupation administration approved the exchange rate at the level of 10 hryvnias for 25 rubles. If entrepreneurs refuse to sell goods for the currency of the aggressor country, then a “preventive conversation” is held with them.
At the same time, collaborator Yevgeny Balitsky in Melitopol decided that from May 20, business entities can use for settlements both hryvnia and roubles. In turn, non-cash payments can be made only in rubles. The traitor also approved the criminal exchange rate – 2 rubles for 1 hryvnia.
Civilians are trying to leave the occupied territories
The movement of cars has finally begun in the Vasilyevka area after the invaders blocked the passage of civilians wishing to leave the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye region for a long time.
For three days of waiting, about a thousand cars from different settlements of the Zaporozhye region gathered there. Only a part of the vehicles managed to break through in Zaporozhye, – noted in the OVA.
Also on May 20, 10 people were detained and taken to police stations for violating curfew rules. Among them were 9 men and one woman. 2 people were handed over to the regional territorial centers for recruitment and social support, who were given summonses.
In addition, the patrol police drew up 2 protocols for driving while intoxicated. The cars were confiscated from the offenders.
Power supply resumed in Zaporozhye
On May 20, Zaporozhyeoblenergo resumed power supply to 290 houses in the villages of Robotino and Novoprokopovka. Specialists also healed part of the de-energized subscribers of the Orekhovskaya electrical networks – the power was returned to 1047 consumers.
However, due to enemy shelling, new damages occurred in the Bilmatsky networks. As a result, 500 houses were de-energized. Brigades of power engineers were not able to carry out emergency and recovery work due to active hostilities and lack of access to places of damaged electrical networks.
Besides, in Zaporozhye, Ukrainian defenders continue to destroy the invaders. In particular, the Defense Forces, together with representatives of the Resistance Movement, destroyed the radar stations of infidels near Melitopol, which jammed communications and conducted reconnaissance.
Also, thanks to coordinated actions with the partisans, Ukrainian riflemen eliminated several artillery systems of the Russian army. The invaders responded to their defeats by tightening control at checkpoints and checking not only private cars, but also public transport in Melitopol.
