Russia tried to attack Odessa from the sea/Collage of Channel 24
Russian invaders again tried to attack the coastal zone of Odessa region. Fortunately, the enemy did not succeed.
The relevant information was provided by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They talked about the situation during July 12 – the 139th day of a full-scale war that Russia launched against Ukraine.
The invaders tried to strike at Odessa
On July 12, around 2:30 pm, the Russian invaders launched rocket attacks from the Black Sea. This time, the enemy fired four air-to-surface missiles of the X-31 type from Su-30 fighters, the command said.
They also explained that Russia had sent missiles to the coastal zone of the Odessa region.

Fortunately, the enemy failed to achieve their goals. However, this attack will once again allow: “Russia continues the naval blockade of Ukrainian ports, exacerbating the global food crisis.”
The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a drone, an ammunition depot and a lot of enemy equipment
Anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Force continue to control the airspace, keeping the kafirs' aviation at a distance, – the command reported.
They also added that on July 12 they managed to destroy one air target of the enemy – an operational-tactical level drone, which the occupier carried out aerial reconnaissance.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to destroy:
- strike aircraft of the Air Force – the composition of the ammunition of the enemy group of troops in the south-Bug direction;
- Su-25 attack aircraft and Su- bombers 24 hit the accumulation of weapons and military equipment in the Izyum and Donetsk directions – destroyed up to 30 units of Russian equipment.
The Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, our strike aircraft have carried out 1,700 group air strikes on positions, convoys, equipment and manpower of Russia.
Briefly about the situation in Odessa
- < li> On July 11, Russia attacked the Odessa region, firing 7 X-31 missiles from the Black Sea at the region.
- One of them hit a private house in one of the coastal villages. The shock wave there damaged neighboring houses, trees and cars. The second rocket hit the port infrastructure facility, and the rest of the shells hit the agricultural land of the region. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
- On the evening of July 11, explosions were heard again in Odessa. Then gray smoke billowed over the city.
- On July 12, the speaker of the head of the Odesa OVA, Sergei Bratchuk, said that the danger of missile strikes from the Black Sea is still high. After all, the enemy is holding 7 ships there, from which they can launch Caliber missiles.
- According to Bratchuk, the occupiers are “feeling” the coastline, hitting precisely the civilian population. Because the enemy wants to physically and psychologically put pressure on our defense forces and civilians.
