Rashists destroyed the archive unit of the Security Service in the Chernihiv region, where there were documents on repressions against Ukrainians during the Soviet era. They worked on it for more than 3 years.
This was announced on March 25 by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova. According to her, Russia continues the policy of intolerance of the Ukrainian nation.

People will not know the truth
The Ombudsman noted that the crimes of the Soviet special services were declassified by the law “On access to the archives of the repressive organs of the communist totalitarian regime of 1917-1991”. And it was in the SBU unit in Chernihiv that there were arrays of documentary materials.
Work on this lasted 3 years. Half a million documents were declassified, which made it possible to provide visitors to the archive with 13,000 cases for processing,” Denisova said.
