Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar spoke about the plans of the invaders near Severodonetsk. She said this on the air of the national telethon, channel 24 reports.
The goal of the enemy is to encircle the troops of the Joint Forces. Now the enemy is trying to do it. Indeed, the Russians now prevail both in terms of weapons and the number of personnel, – the official noted.
She added that in such unfavorable conditions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are resisting. And not only near Severodonetsk, forces are unequal in other directions as well.
Invaders are hitting bomb shelters in Severodonetsk
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration said that in recent days the Russians have been continuously shelling residential areas of Severodonetsk . It is very difficult to get to the places where civilians died.
The enemy deliberately shells those places where civilians are hiding – the Azot plant, in whose bomb shelters people are hiding, and the basements of schools. As a result of the actions of the invaders during the day on May 24, 6 residents of Severodonetsk were killed, and 8 more were injured. The shelling took place near the shelters.
