As the investigation found out, the officer was in the village of Mokrets, which for some time was under the occupation of the Russians. The suspect, along with two accomplices from the Russian army, captured two Ukrainian civilians who did not have weapons and did not participate in hostilities.
This senior lieutenant conducted an illegal interrogation, during which he humiliated the prisoners. He demanded that the men provide information about the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, terrorist defense fighters and pro-Ukrainian residents of the village. When the invader did not hear the information he needed, he put on tactical gloves and beat the prisoners in the face and head. Subsequently, they were forced to undress and go down to the basement.
It is reported that on the website of the Russian Armed Forces, this criminal is an “example of courage and heroism” that he showed in the war against Ukraine.
