“He can protect himself from external threats with the support of the population, which is determined by fear and coercion. There are no people in Russia who would be convinced that without Putin their country would not exist, because these are just propaganda slogans,” Feigin emphasized.

He suggested. that the Russian military command is dissatisfied with Putin’s actions. Also, the economic situation of the aggressor country is gradually deteriorating due to global sanctions.

An economy that is completely aimed at the needs of war , and many other factors could influence Putin's downfall. But it is difficult to predict under what conditions this will happen. However, now Putin is tightly clinging to power, using intimidation and murder, which significantly influences the Russian elite, the human rights activist emphasized.
