On January 30, Congress will vote on the appointment of Tulsi Gabbard as the new Director of National Intelligence. Earlier, the Center for Countering Disinformation accused her of spreading anti-Ukrainian propaganda.

On Channel 24, Army General and former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh explained how dangerous this candidacy is for Ukraine. By the way, Gabbard previously stated that the United States had been allegedly provoking Vladimir Putin for many years, and that there are 25 “dangerous biolabs” in Ukraine that can produce “deadly pathogens.”

How dangerous is Gabbard for Ukraine

If appointed to the post, former Democratic Congresswoman Gabbard from Hawaii, who began supporting Donald Trump, will control 18 intelligence agencies. She will also be responsible for preparing the Presidential Daily Report, a written intelligence summary that is compiled each morning.

In addition, one of the main US intelligence agencies that today shape security and strategy, in particular for Ukraine and Russia, is the Central Intelligence Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Gabbard is the intelligence agency coordinator. She does not have a decisive vote. If she is elected, she will not be able to move, for example, towards Russia, because she will strictly follow the instructions of President Trump, whose position is formed by a strong team that supports Ukraine, the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service added.

According to him, no coordinator has anything to do with real secrets or sensitive operations. In general, Gabbard will know something, but there are definitely no specifics, much less secrets.

Gabbard on the Ukrainian list of pro-Russian propagandists

The Center for Countering Disinformation has added Tulsi Gabbard to the list of American politicians, scientists and activists who have contributed to pro-Russian propaganda. In March 2022, the CPD accused a former US Army Reserve officer of working “for a foreign audience on Kremlin money.”

In November 2023, she said that Zelensky had “already taken control of the media, banned opposition political parties and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and now he has announced the cancellation of the presidential election.”

In the summer of 2024, Gabbard said that Volodymyr Zelensky's presidential term “ended on May 20” and that he “cancelled the election under martial law, thereby suspending the Ukrainian Constitution in order to remain in power.”

Gabbard has also appealed to Presidents Vladimir Putin, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Joe Biden with a proposal for Ukraine to be neutral country without entering into a military alliance with NATO or Russia.
