The Russian army damaged more than 1800 educational institutions throughout Ukraine. Because of the war, there was no last bell in schools this year.
Instead of such a long-awaited last call, the students heard the sound of sirens announcing the threat of an air strike. Schoolchildren were not going to the last lesson of the school year, but to a damp basement.
President Volodymyr Zelensky published photos showing what Ukrainian schools look like now. The footage shows broken windows, mutilated desks, entire floors destroyed.
In school classes, life froze on February 23rd. But, no matter how difficult it is now, Ukrainians cannot be broken. We will fight, develop, learn. For the sake of freedom and our future victory,” the head of state stressed.

Russians destroy educational institutions in Ukraine: what is known
On May 22, in the Mykolaiv region, the enemy bombed the Shevchenko boarding school. As a result of the shelling, all the windows in the building were shattered. In Novgorod-Seversky in the Chernihiv region, a two-hundred-year-old Lyceum-Gymnasium named after Konstantin Ushinsky suffered from a Russian missile attack. Previously, Panteleimon Kulish, Mykola Kibalchich, Konstantin Ushinsky and other Ukrainian figures studied at this educational institution.
The Lyceum survived two world wars, and the “Russian world” destroyed it. Unfortunately, half of the educational institution is destroyed. Note that another rocket hit school No. 2, located on the outskirts of the city. It is known that the projectile destroyed the gymnasium.
Back in early May, infidels destroyed an architectural monument and one of the best educational institutions in Ukraine – the Lisichansk multidisciplinary gymnasium. It was built by the Belgians at the end of the 19th century. The educational institution was part of the ensemble of the Belgian architectural heritage of Lisichansk. Unfortunately, it burned down due to shelling by infidels. The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Gaidai, hopes that the gymnasium will be rebuilt after the victory.
Pay attention! At the end of April, Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet reported that the Russians had completely destroyed 102 educational institutions in Ukraine. institutions. It is no longer possible to repair them. Note that now this number may be higher, since a month of the war has passed.
