On October 11, a check of the troops began in Belarus. This was instructed by the self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko.
The State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus checks the army. The Ministry of Defense of the country says that this covers the issue of readiness to perform tasks as intended.
Combat readiness is also checked
Belarus says During the inspection, military units and subunits will work out a number of tasks. In particular:
- issues of bringing to combat readiness,
- implementation of the march,
- deployment in designated areas with the performance of combat training tasks.
Added that the events are of a complex nature and are being prepared for the fulfillment of tasks as intended.
Belarus and Russia created a common grouping
Putin and Lukashenko agreed on the eve of the deployment of a joint regional group of troops on the western borders.
According to the Belarusian dictator, the forces of his army will be the basis for this. He also added that Russia cannot allocate a large number of military personnel because of the war against Ukraine, however, despite this, it will send a certain number of military personnel to Belarus.
Belarus continues to support Russia in the war, however, in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that so far the creation of offensive formations has not been discovered.
