The Kherson region met the Russian invaders not with bread and salt, but with protests and total rejection of the “Russian world”. After fleeing from the right bank of Kherson, the Russians take revenge and fire at the settlements of Kherson, even in the occupied territory.
Kherson activist Volodymyr Molchanov told Channel 24 about this. According to him, residents of the occupied territories may inaccurately determine the time from the shot to the arrival of the projectile, so they may mistakenly think that the shots occurred somewhere nearby.
Russians shelling Oleshki
Information began to appear on the network that the invaders were shelling the city of Oleshki in the occupied part of the Kherson region. Vladimir Molchanov explained that the Russians are indeed shelling the city, but it is not known whether this is a targeted attack, or the inability to use weapons.
It is still impossible to say for sure whether this is purposefully directed at Oleshki, or is it due to poor training and an absolute inability to evaluate their actions by these Russian gunners, because they usually fly not only at Oleshki, but also at Antonovka located opposite, ”said Molchanov.
The activist noted that citizens may mistakenly believe that the shots are taking place in the city itself, because they hear the sound of a shot and an arrival almost simultaneously. According to Molchanov, this is only an impression, because the sound of a shot and an explosion reaches a person with a certain delay.

He also added that for shots from a mortar, there must be a distance of at least 450 meters, because the mine will not fly to the nearest distance.
Vladimir Molchanov said that the mines are coming from the south and east, which means that the shots are fired by Russian invaders from the occupied territories.
