The Russians continue their shameful attack on Ukraine. One of the directions is Zaporozhye.
The Russian invaders managed to temporarily occupy certain settlements there. Therefore, they are still committing terror of the local population and shameful atrocities with impunity.
Situation in Zaporozhye
The OVA reports that there is no active enemy attack in Zaporozhye . But because of his fire, which leads, he wants to pin down the positions of our troops and destroy the artillery units.
Russian infidels were shelling in Gulyaipole. Because of this, the local kindergarten “Rodnichok” caught fire. Residential buildings in the towns of Pologi and Orekhov also burned. Rescuers managed to put out the fire. Also in Orekhovo, a demining group seized and neutralized an artillery shell of 152 mm caliber and 2 remnants of Gradov.
Demining specialists also worked in other areas. In the village of Grigorovka, 3 Uragan rockets were destroyed in the field. Also in the fields, but already outside Novoyakovlovka, 16 rockets with cumulative fragmentation warheads were seized and neutralized.
Evacuation and curfew violation
The Zaporizhzhya police department reported that on May 6 there would be an evacuation from Mariupol. People are asked to gather at 12:00 near the Port City shopping center in the city. From there they should be brought to Zaporozhye.
They also reported on violators of the curfew. Over the past night, 46 people were detained in Zaporozhye. 41 men and 5 women were taken to the police.
The OVA also reminded that there will be a long curfew in Zaporozhye again. The restrictions will last from 19:00 on May 8 to 5:00 on May 10.
What is happening at the front
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning May 6 traditionally released new information with the main news from the front. In the Donbas, Ukrainian soldiers managed to repel 11 attacks by Russian invaders. The enemy is building up air defense systems and regrouping and rebuilding units. The assault on Azovstal in Mariupol also resumed.
- In the Kharkiv region, Russian infidels set up a hospital for themselves in the temporarily occupied Kupyansk. Now there are about 300 wounded. They also continue vile shelling of the city of Kharkov.
- Earlier, the General Staff reported on the dismissal of several settlements in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions. But the enemy can't just leave them like that. Accordingly, now the Russian invaders are shelling those villages that the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to liberate.
