Temporarily occupied Melitopol/censor.net
Russian occupiers who broke into the Zaporozhye region are conducting raids on public utilities institutions in order to find as many men of military age as possible.
The detainees are forcibly sent to military registration and enlistment offices. Moreover, because of intimidation and pressure on their families, the invaders create detachments of “people's militia” out of Ukrainian policemen.
Intimidation and propaganda: what is happening in Zaporozhye
According to the data of the Zaporizhia Regional Military District, the occupying troops are trying to carry out measures of information and psychological influence on the inhabitants of the occupied region. To do this, the Russians distribute bulletins and public telegrams with distorted information about the course of hostilities.
Mobile patrols of invaders and Ukrainian citizens from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk and Donetsk regions also operate in the region. Such “detachments” are designed to conduct regular raids for men of military age. It is reported that after being detained, they are forcibly sent to military registration and enlistment offices.
Psychological terror is also carried out in the Melitopol district, where, according to local residents, the invaders conduct searches – they are looking for weapons, documents, food supplies, and also try to get information about ATO soldiers, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, law enforcement officers of Ukraine.
