In Ivanychevsk Lyceum No. 1, graduates decided to say goodbye to school to draw a picture with a Russian ship that attacked Zmeiny Island in the first days of a full-scale war and was sent in the legendary direction. However, the teachers did not appreciate modern patriotism.
A few days after application, it was painted over. This provoked a scandal. The head of the educational institution noted that the drawing was not agreed with the school administration.
It is noted that the graduates spent the whole day creating the picture. On May 30, a patriotic drawing decorated the school yard. However, on June 6, a black square appeared in its place. The journalists tried to figure out why the school management made such a decision.
The head of the educational institution Maria Shevchik said that the graduates painted a picture without the knowledge of the school principal and class teacher.
I am not involved in this … They came in the evening themselves. The class teacher didn't know about it. The director of the school, too, – said the director of the lyceum.
According to her, there is no tradition at all in the educational institution to draw something before the school. Nevertheless, local residents sent journalists photos from previous years, where graduates drew various images on the doorstep.
The director appeals to the fact that the action was not approved. It was because of the picture that I had to erase it.
If they had been warned, then maybe they would have painted, but after that I told the class teacher, could they draw that picture beautifully and hand it over to us. We have a corner of glory. Well, to put it there, – added Maria Shevchik.
What the directorate did not like about the patriotic drawing of graduates, she did not explain.
The graduates danced a waltz on the ruins
- Graduates of school No. 134 in Kharkov danced a waltz on the ruins of their educational institution. They admit that they did not dream of such a last call, but on June 5 they nevertheless came to school.

- Only a third of the class was able to come to the last bell. Part of the schoolchildren left the city due to Russian aggression.
- One of the graduates of the school, 16-year-old Valeria, amazed the network with a touching photo in a prom dress against the backdrop of the ruins of the school.
