On Tuesday, December 27, an accident happened in Vinnitsa. A 40-year-old resident of the district hit two underage pedestrians.
The incident occurred around 17:00 on Kieletska Street. A Lexus driver knocked down two residents of Vinnitsa, aged 13 and 14.
What were the circumstances of the accident
According to the police of the Vinnytsia region, two minors crossed the road on an unregulated pedestrian crossing. The 40-year-old Lexus driver did not take into account the traffic situation and hit pedestrians.

As a result of an accident, the children were hospitalized in the Vinnitsa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. It is worth noting that at the time of the accident the driver was sober.
At the fact of the accident, law enforcement officers have already opened a criminal case. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
