The Government has made changes to the Procedure for Considering Name Change Applications. This also applies to surnames and patronymics. This was stated by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.

Melnychuk said that they fixed the possibility of applying for a name change through a representative or by mail.
In addition, with permission to change, it will be possible to apply for state registration to the departments of registration of acts of civil status, a diplomatic mission or a consular office of Ukraine. They will issue an appropriate certificate based on the result of its conduct through a representative.
The government allowed applying for pensions through the heads of communities
On September 19, the government announced that applications for pensions could be submitted through the heads of territorial communities. In particular, a village, settlement, city head or headman.
