The first collaborator mayor was arrested in Ukraine: he helped the occupiers in the Kyiv region/Colage 24 channel
Soon the court will choose the punishment for the first detainee for becoming the “mayor” of the occupying authorities. We are talking about a man who briefly “led” the village of Dymer in the Vyshgorodsky district of the Kyiv region.
The detainee is a little-known local businessman Alexander Kharchenko. The story of this 39-year-old man was told in The Wall Street Journal on May 21.
What he offered to the invaders
According to journalists, the suspect committed treason immediately after the infidels entered the city. He allegedly volunteered his services and headed the collaboration administration.
Kharchenko allegedly offered to do two things:
- to resume the work of the main local services;
- to ensure that the residents of Dymerka treat the occupiers well.

Russia provided confirmation of his crime
The most interesting thing is that the video, which was made public on March 28 at the Russian Ministry of Defense, can be evidence in court. On it, the military of the enemy allegedly distributed food to local residents, and Kharchenko nearby said not to be afraid of the Russians.
Do not trust the Ukrainian media, Russian soldiers are not hostile, you can normally approach them and resolve all issues with them, the suspected collaborator said.
However, his career did not last for a long time – until the moment when the liberation of the Kiev region from the enemy began. The Russian troops began to retreat under the onslaught of our defenders, but they did not even think of taking their puppet. Therefore, he was detained and placed under the custody of Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
What threatens for such treason
If the guilt of this “chairman” Dymer can be proven in court, he will face an extremely severe punishment. After all, he is being tried on charges of treason.
During martial law, this crime is equated in severity with the murder of a person. Therefore, he can be imprisoned for a period of 12 to 15 years. Kharchenko is also a defendant in the article of the Criminal Code “Espionage” – from 10 to 15 years in prison.
Earlier, other details were told about him
On April 17, it was reported that a representative of the collaboration authorities was suspected not only inclining to cooperate with the enemy. In a message from the Office of the Prosecutor General, they noted that he probably provided the Russian invaders with information about war veterans in Donbas.
Pay attention! Officially, Ukrainian law enforcement officers did not disclose the name of the suspected man. However, his identity was confirmed to journalists by local residents. In addition, the man's name was mentioned in the materials of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
