The Ukrainian company YouControl and Artellence, with the support of cyber experts from the Security Service of Ukraine, have created a new application “TiHto”. It will help the military, defense and police to distinguish suspicious individuals.

The purpose of the application is to simplify the procedure for checking suspicious individuals at checkpoints, streets during curfew, at the entrance to a shelter or in other situations.

What can be checked in the application:

  • does the photo in the passport correspond to reality, is the passport invalid and considered lost;
  • is the person on a state wanted list;
  • is the person subject to sanctions by the National Security and Defense Council and is the person on the terrorist register;
  • is the person included in the list of military terrorists and DRGs or base “Peacemaker”;
  • whether the car of the person is wanted.

If a “risk factor” is detected using the application, you must immediately transfer this information to representatives of law enforcement agencies for a more thorough and additional verification, the SBU stressed.

At the same time, the department The community emphasized that the application does not contain, does not store or transmit personal data of individuals, but works with information from open registries.
