Men in Ukraine who are “booked” from mobilization may be allowed to travel abroad. The new booking procedure should be adopted soon.

The minister noted that a new booking project is already being approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. Sviridenko said that employees working in the public sector, enterprises performing mobilization tasks, producing products for the Armed Forces and of critical importance for the economy fall under the new booking criteria.
The minister noted that the final decision rests with the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. “There can be no other position, because the country is at war,” she said.
Our task is not to allow everyone to leave, our task is to help businesses that works, go abroad to conclude new contracts, agreements, participate in exhibitions, etc., – said Sviridenko.
Workers already booked can switch to the new format after their booking period expires, she said. In addition, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Digital Development and the General Staff are working on converting reservations to electronic format.
Mobilization continues in Ukraine
- In November, the Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine until February 19, 2023. Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been declared since February 24, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion.

- For 10 months of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the pace of mobilization has decreased. Now, first of all, those who already have experience in military service are called up.
- Citizens without experience are also called up, however, they must undergo the appropriate exercises. In the ranks, the troops need representatives of almost all specialties to recruit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other formations.
