— The fact that such a high-tech facility will be on the territory of Ukraine will help strengthen both our defense capability and export potential, since some of these products will be exported with the mark “made in Ukraine”, — noted Vasyl Bodnar.
A significant part of the high-tech sector of the Ukrainian economy will be involved in the operation of the Bayraktar production plant: this is the production of aircraft engines, avionics, etc.
Marine drone industry
According to Ambassador Vasyl Bodnar, Turkey is undoubtedly interested in Ukrainian marine drones.
— Turkey is also developing its marine drone industry. The Turkish side is extremely interested in both experience, production capacity and application practice. We have recently begun discussing the possibility of cooperation in this regard. A large exhibition is planned for October in Istanbul — SAHA-2024. We hope that there will be discussions on the prospects for cooperation in this area, — said the Ukrainian ambassador.
According to him, Turkey is interested in all the products and technologies that Ukraine is currently using at the front, in particular: IT technologies, the possibility of using experience in digitalizing the battlefield, etc.
