The village was hit by an earthquake in early February. Recently, a stone fell from a mountain on a house. The villagers are asking the state for help, because falling stones threaten them.

The one-story building, which was hit by a several-ton stone, belongs to Hadji Bulgur. The road to the house is blocked by stones. The owner of the house said that the stone fell because of the earthquake. However, it didn't break right away.
The stone after the earthquake broke into many pieces, but at night after the first shock a large piece fell on the roof of my house, so my mother and I ran away. 8 days after the earthquake, the stone was cut into 2 parts. At that time we were with my brother. When I returned, I saw that something terrible had happened. If the stone had rolled down, then many houses would have been destroyed,” Haji said.
Another earthquake
On Monday, February 27, a new earthquake of magnitude 5.6 struck the Turkish province of Malatya. One person is known to have died and 69 were injured. This was reported in the Office for the Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of Turkey.
As a result of the earthquake, there are destroyed houses. Rescuers are currently clearing the rubble.
