A tourist from Lviv in Transcarpathia fell off a cliff. Fortunately, during the fall, the man caught on a tree.
The incident occurred around 4:30 pm on December 26 on Mount High Stone in the Mukachevo region. Rescuers pulled the man out with ropes.
Lviv resident fell off the cliff
A group of four people successfully climbed the mountain. However, during the descent due to heavy fog turned in the wrong direction. A 32-year-old resident of Lviv fell off a rocky area in a gorge and caught on a tree.
Mountain rescuers were called to the scene. With the help of ropes, they removed the victim from the tree and lowered him down. Fortunately, the help of doctors was not needed.

Note that the rescuers told ZAXID.NET that the tourist fell from a height of about 4 – 5 meters.
The depth of the gorge is about 10 meters. The tree actually saved him. If he had not caught on to him, there might have been other consequences – injury or even death, – the State Emergency Service specified. /p>
A woman from Kiev flew into an abyss on an ATV
On December 25, in Mykulychyn near Yaremche, a 27-year-old woman from Kiev on an ATV flew into a 15-meter abyss. To fix the cervical spine, the victim was given a special collar. Then the girl was transported on a stretcher to an ambulance and hospitalized.
