In order to effectively protect the regional center from the invaders, on February 24, fortifications began to be built. First of all, they say in the OVA, it was necessary to create several defensive lines. Yes, the Cossacks are working to fortify the city, and also help dig trenches and fill sandbags. Until now, additional defensive lines are being created to resist the enemy.
Excavator Mikhail from the Urban Heating Networks concern said that he helps in any way he can.
Many of our guys went to defend our country. We do what we can – help our guys. We have been digging for a long time, defending our lines and digging trenches,” he remarked.

In the Zaporizhia police department, they note that the increased aggression in the southern direction made it necessary to slightly change the approach to defense. Therefore, they continue to build defensive structures, but more complex ones.
“Now we are far from Zaporozhye. We are building fortification positions so that Russian troops do not move closer to the city,” said Alexander Vlasyuk, First Deputy Mayor.< /p>
He added that the work does not stop now and will continue. Both private and public utilities are working to defend the city. They provide the necessary equipment that helps to dig trenches and trenches quickly and efficiently.
