In the Volgograd region, an oil depot and substation are on fire due to a drone attack

In the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation at dawn on July 9, an oil depot in the city of Kalach-on-Don and a substation in the city of Frolovo caught fire.

Local residents report hearing a series of explosions before the fire.

Drone attack on the Volgograd region

According to the governor of the Volgograd region Andrei Bocharov, at night the region was attacked by attack drones. He assures that air defense and electronic warfare forces stopped the drone attack, but debris fell on a substation in the city of Frolovo and on an oil depot in Kalach-on-Don.

Local residents of Kalach-on-Don report that they heard the characteristic sound of a moped before the explosion at the oil depot. Everyone counted about 10 explosions.
