The Vinnytsia region police said that on October 13, at around 7:00, an unknown substance exploded , which was in a bag on the hood of a police car.
As a result of the explosion, the law enforcement officer was burned. The 38-year-old policeman was hospitalized, the report said.
The Investigation Department of the Regional Police Headquarters launched a pre-trial investigation for “encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer, a member of a public formation for the protection of public order and the state border, or a soldier” .
For such a crime, an attacker may face life imprisonment.
