Russia launched a massive missile strike on the night of March 9th. In the Ternopil region, a fall of rocket fragments was recorded.
This was told by the head of the Ternopil OVA Volodymyr Trush. According to him, a fall of rocket fragments was recorded on the territory of the Podgaetsky community of the Ternopil region.
What is the situation in the Ternopil region
The explosion damaged 5 buildings, one of which is residential. A large funnel formed. Fortunately, there were no victims or injured.
According to the results of the inspection of the wreckage by explosives experts, no dangerous parts were found, but the scene of the accident may be affected by the remnants of rocket fuel.
Trush added that operational-investigative groups of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of Emergency in the region, as well as specialists of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service, are working at the scene in order to establish the marking of the missile and collect material evidence.
People should not be approached, because rocket debris can release harmful substances. As you can see, a damaged family farm that is not related to critical infrastructure, so we urge everyone not to ignore the alarms, – says the chairman of the Ternopil OVA.
