Late in the evening, April 2, the chief engineer of the agricultural cooperative “Verkholomov” Andrei Likold and his employee Yuri Moskovoy drove to the side Volgodonsk in their own cars. Soon both men went missing.

Soon their relatives became worried and went to the police. As a result of the search, law enforcement officers found one of them in the trunk of a car, which they found on the banks of the Sal River, near the Verkholomov farm. The police made such a discovery only 4 days after the disappearance of the men.

It was reported that his body lay with his hands and feet bound, his throat slit and his ears cut off. According to local media, Yuri Moskovoy’s empty VAZ was found nearby. The man himself was found in the river later. He was also dead.

What is known about the suspect

Later, the police put 32-year-old Artem Bukotin on the wanted list. who, according to published data, twice went to fight against the civilian population of Ukraine. The Russian even received a Russian medal for the so-called “courage”.

He was in Russia’s war of conquest from September to December 2022. Later, he again decided to join the crimes of the occupiers and from January to March 2023 was also in Ukraine.

As it turned out, Bukotin had already had problems with the law several times. It is noted that in 2014 he was accused of car theft.

Even earlier, in 2003, a resident of the Rostov region reported to the police that 11-year-old Bukotin tried to rape her 8-year-old son.
