According to the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, the missile strike destroyed containers with agricultural products that were supposed to be exported to countries in Asia and Africa.
— Two terminals in the port of Yuzhny, which specialize in transshipment of agricultural products, were attacked. One of the terminals belongs to the world-famous Singaporean company, which has been operating in Ukraine since 2004 and owns several factories for processing agricultural products. This is more than $300 million in investments and almost 1 thousand jobs, — noted in the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine.
Eyewitnesses say that there were several explosions in Odessa after the air raid warning was announced. According to them, smoke could be seen over the city.
Before this, the Air Force warned about the threat of the use of ballistic weapons from the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
