Recent cases of carbon monoxide poisoning

Unfortunately, due to the numerous massive shelling of Russians, Ukrainians are forced to heat their homes using different methods. Sometimes it ends in tragedy. For example:

  • Five children were poisoned by carbon monoxide in the Odessa region on December 7. The preliminary cause of poisoning is a violation of fire safety rules during the operation of a heating furnace (cracks).
  • In the Kyiv region, a 9-year-old boy was poisoned by carbon monoxide. The incident occurred due to a malfunction in the boiler.
  • In Balakliya, the whole family died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning. They heated the apartment with a gas stove. Law enforcers opened criminal proceedings for premeditated murder with the note “accident”.
