In the Odessa region, a channel for the illegal departure of men from Ukraine was exposed. The scammers' scheme was based on fictitious marriages.
The exposure of the scheme and the arrest of the defendants was reported by the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The organizer of the transfer of potential conscripts abroad turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of the region. She personally searched for men who want to go abroad and avoid mobilization.

The attacker suggested that men marry women with disabilities in order to cross the state border as an “accompanying person.”
For $4,500, the “matchmaker” promised to find “brides” with the required disability group. This “marriage agency” offered disabled Ukrainian women aged 18 to 57 years to earn “easy money.”

The organizer of the scheme was caught red-handed while receiving funds for the marriage of one of the couples.
During authorized searches in households and vehicles of the criminals, originals and copies of passport documents, marriage and divorce certificates, marriage contracts, disability certificates, and conclusions of the MSEC and the Higher Inspectorate on Disability were found and confiscated.
Now the organizer of the “marriage agency” and the “wife” with a disability have been declared suspected of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
