At night, a stadium flared up in Russian-occupied Stakhanov, where the base of the Wagnerites is probably located. As a result of the fire, only one mercenary survived.
One surviving mercenary is known
According to media reports, the stadium in Stakhanov, Luhansk region, caught fire at night and burned until the morning. It is reported that recently the base of Russian mercenaries of the PKK “Wagner” was located there.
According to preliminary information in the media and social networks, as a result of the fire, only one mercenary is known to have survived. However, there are no reports of deaths in Stakhanov, located west of Luhansk and south of Severodonetsk.

In the morning, eyewitnesses managed to fix a column of gray smoke over Stakhanov, caused by a fire at the stadium. There are also shots directly near the stadium.

What is the situation in the Luhansk region
- The Russian armed forces have occupied 95% of the territory of the Lugansk region, after which they are trying to capture Severodonetsk. According to preliminary data from the Luhansk OVA, the aggressor troops control most of the city.
- In addition to Severodonetsk, the Russian army is mercilessly shelling Lisichansk. The Russians are beating with mortars, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. The head of the Luhansk OVA, Sergei Gaidai, informed that there were almost no surviving buildings left in Lisichansk.
- As a result of shelling, a woman died and her daughter was wounded in Lisichanskaya. In total, 4 people were killed in the Luhansk region during the day from shelling and 5 more were injured.
- Sergey Gaidai also informed that Russian troops were ordered to capture Severodonetsk by June 10 and cut the Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway.
- The Ukrainian military hold the defense in Severodonetsk and Luhansk region. Sergei Gaidai is convinced that Ukraine will be able to clear Severodonetsk in 2-3 days if our forces receive long-range artillery. It is precisely such weapons that the U.S. and Great Britain promised to transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
