This year the organizers decided not to hold the parade due to the prohibition of mass events. It is expected that the next gay pride parade will be held in August 2021. Also, the organizers are exploring the possibility of holding the event on a smaller scale.
Earlier it was reported about the cancellation of the planned June gay pride parade in Moldova. With this initiative the organizers of the event, not the government. They called on all supporters to show “solidarity in these difficult times”.
