In Starobelsk, Lugansk region, Russians canceled the celebration of St. Nicholas Day, saying that it is a purely Ukrainian holiday.

This was announced by the head of the Lugansk Regional Police Department Artem Lysogor.

According to him, instead, the children will be congratulated, in particular, by Kish Babai from Tatarstan, who was granted so-called patronage over some of the occupied communities of the Lugansk region.

Earlier, the Center of National Resistance reported that teachers from Russia continue to arrive in the temporarily occupied territories in order to influence the consciousness of young Ukrainians.
