Drone attack in Russia on July 15: what is known
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that they destroyed or intercepted:
- 17 UAVs over the Bryansk region,
- three – over the Kursk region,
- one at a time – over the Lipetsk and Oryol regions.
Meanwhile, the governor of the Lipetsk region, Igor Artamonov, clarified that a drone fell on the territory of an electrical substation in the Stanovlyansky municipal district.
Despite the fact that there are supposedly no casualties, law enforcement officers are working at the crash site.
The operation of the electrical substation, Artamonov convinces, has not been disrupted.
Let us recall that the electrical substation in the Stanovlyansky district was already on fire on May 13, although the drones were allegedly suppressed then.
Note that the Russian air defense tried to repel the drone attack in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims six drones were shot down, while eyewitnesses say that there were actually eight explosions, and not all UAVs were destroyed, as the occupiers report.
So, at night there were arrivals at military unit 85702 at Cape Fiolent near Sevastopol, where the S-400/S-300 air defense system division from the 12th anti-aircraft regiment is stationed.
There is evidence of an explosion at the S-400 position and, probably, damage to one of the radar stations.
